Keys In Hand

“For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Since the lights aren't on in the house yet, last night was much like camping! We ordered delivery from Bentinos. They didn't mind delivering to us in the dark. We ate our Greek pizza while gazing at stars from the roof of the Blazer. The crickets and water rushing were among the only sounds around. Owls and bats swoop around in the darkness. Such a peaceful and welcoming place is this.
It's a lot of wonderful to accept all at one time! Tomorrow, we all go to get supplies for the first round of home improvements. More soon. Ashay and Mahalo!

After taking a little cruise through the back roads, we have arrived!
The girls do the honors!
Green!
Beautiful view from the kitchen. That's our closest neighbor over there, a philosophy professor. Soon the bamboo on the other side of the fruit trees will grow up and make a better natural privacy fence between us

Surrounded by Maple trees! mmmm Maple syrup....MMMM Fall time...
Pedro has a relaxing place to rest his bones and receive the attention that ( we all ) he  needs and deserves!

Time capsule. No touching
Welcome mat
The ultimate multi task....  Even while relaxing and celebrating the brainstorming must commence!
Dave is working on a studio on stilts (telephone poles) , 20ft up...for the breeze and the view, of course. This, and a skate bowl that also contains a living space, half underground...he keeps us crazy, bless his heart.

Newest Work

“Every now and then one paints a picture that seems to have opened a door and serves as a stepping stone to other things.”
― Pablo Picasso

While we all wait patiently to move into our new place we find many ways to occupy ourselves. Introducing my newest work in Keith's Alley. It's coming together nicely and so far has been a pure joy to channel. Blessings. Ashe.

Awaken

“A rebel can be a miserable and contemptible man; but there is nothing contemptible in a revolt as such - and to be a rebel in view of contemporary society does not in itself lower the value of a man. There are even cases in which one might have to honour a rebel, because he finds something in our society against which war ought to be waged - he wakens us from our slumber.”
~ Nietzsche

Breaking in the most comfortable painting shoes yet.

It was extremely fun to paint the entire lower wall this way! The most fun I have had with paint in a very long time!

Killing Time

“And this I believe: that the free, exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world. And this I would fight for: the freedom of the mind to take any direction it wishes, undirected. And this I must fight against: any idea, religion, or government which limits or destroys the individual. This is what I am and what I am about.”
― John Steinbeck, East of Eden

As we all wait to move into the house we find enjoyment in the simplicity of life. Parks, friends, art, poetry reading, swimming in the river, and relaxing are on the agenda. It's Spring and more beautiful than ever! Ashe!
